Therefore, instead of the usual two pipes for liquid supply and cleaning, we proposed a design that uses a single common pipe for both functions, allowing for switching as needed. We proposed the bottom-open type basket without a flange for the dewatering bag of our upper discharge centrifuge KMβ to Company O, a chemical manufacturer, who expressed the desire to easily extract crystals using an upper discharge centrifuge. In an upper discharge centrifuge, the operator must manually remove the solids. However, this is quite labor-intensive, and the difficulty increases if the solids are hard. Furthermore, when it comes to medium-sized machines around 42 inches, the solids to be removed can exceed 100 kg. To alleviate this heavy labor, we considered the bottom-open type of dewatering bag.
